I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Calgary, and also currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Philosophy.
When I’m not doing philosophy, I can be found reading novels, looking at art, taking photographs, playing the guitar, running, engrossed in politics and current events, and hanging out in cafés; some of which alongside my brilliant and lovely fiancée. I also dabble in non-academic writing, such as creative fiction and non-fiction, and the occasional poem (they’re not very good poems, but I try anyway).
If you’d like to get in touch with me, please direct your email to bbeasley [at] ucalgary [dot] ca. I will welcome the distraction from whatever I am supposed to be working on.
Here are some other ways to find me online:
I am also a contributor to the philosophy blog A Philosopher’s Take.
